Black Cat

The Black Cat (1895-1922) was a monthly literary magazine, publishing original short stories, often about uncanny or fantastical topics. Many writers were largely unknown, but some famous authors also wrote original material for this magazine.
Issue number 9 from the 6th volume contains the following stories:

> The King of the Subdivision, by James O'Shaughnessy: did the man really kill his wife or is he innocent?
> By Jove!, by Grace Frances Bird: in some situations, stenography proves to be a very important skill

> A Twentieth-Century Wedding, by Annie Reese Locke: a bride chooses modern technology to get her way
