The Swiss Twins

English · 1922 · 1h 42m · Family & Relationships

Swiss twins Seppi and Leneli are learning to care for their family’s goats when an avalanche blocks their way home. Cut off from the familiar route, they must find their own way forward.

Lucy Fitch Perkins’s children’s adventure follows the twins through a mountain setting where everyday responsibilities can turn into a test of courage and resourcefulness. The story centers on the children’s journey and the choices they make when they cannot rely on the usual path.

First published in 1922, Swiss Twins offers a straightforward adventure for young listeners, with family life, animal care, and the challenges of mountain travel at its heart.
